I started my career as a medical secretary and learning to manage successful projects was a key to advancing my career, even though I did not have the title project manager AND I had a fear of speaking in public

The picture shown is of me at an event where our team was celebrating the approval of a new, one of it's kind Department of Indigenous Health and Wellness at the University of Saskatchewan's College of Medicine. This was a project I led collaboratively with the Vice Dean and Family Medicine physician, Dr. Janet Tootoosis, our team from the Office of Vice Dean Indigenous Health and other interested people from the College of Medicine.
